On the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and G…

On the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), we recognize the potential impact that large-scale resource development projects can have on vulnerable populations. We have incorporated Indigenous traditional knowledge into all aspects and stages of our project planning, assessment, implementation, management and monitoring.

We are building and implementing strategies for gender and cultural safety in line with the calls for justice. We are committed to the safety and well-being of vulnerable members of Indigenous communities, and to ensuring we create a workplace that is safe for women, Indigenous people, and all workers.

Today we honour the memory of the women, families, and communities.
