In Kitimat, nearly 2000 bats were found living in a building that was scheduled to be demolished and it is said to be one of the largest bat colonies in BC. With the hard work of the Kitimat Valley Naturalists and other supporters, the replacement homes aka “bat condos” were erected last week.
